So we’ve decided to start a new feature, called pick of the weekend, where we tell you about an upcoming event that sounds particularly awesome. This weekend’s pick combines local brewing and history (two of our favorite things). “Brewed in Brooklyn” is a daytime tour of the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. In the past the Brooklyn brewery and other beer enthusiasts have pointed out Brooklyn’s rich brewing history (at one time there were over 40 breweries in the borough). Brewed in Brooklyn is a chance to learn more about the borough’s beer history while enjoying some brews. Tickets are $55 and can be found at Urban Oyster.
