One of the great things happening in the New York beer scene is all the beer pairing dinners coming up. In the past couple of weeks three restaurants announced upcoming beer dinners.
Tomorrow, Monday June 4 Perilla will host Evil Twin Brewing as part of their Monday night gypsy brewer series. The menu will feature turkey scrapple, pork loin and chocolate caramel tart paired with Mad Dog Pale Ale, Ron and the Beast Ryan (a saison), and Imperial Biscotti Break.
From June 6 to 9, Cafe D’Alsace will have a fixed beer pairing menu to help celebrate Brasserie D’Achouffe’s 30th anniversary. Beer sommelier Gianni Cavicchi will pair Biere de Solell, Gnomegang, and McChouffe with dishes like tuna crostini, mussels boulliabaisse, and chocolate tart.
On June 13 DBGB’s beer sommelier Jon Langley will be pairing Evil Twin beers with their June suckling pig feast. The beers include Disco Beer Red Cap, a strong ale aged in wine barrels, and P.HA.T, a coffee scented baltic porter.
