Continuing our coverage of the bars that hold the Good Beer Seal, next up is 124 Rabbit Club in Greenwich Village.
Looking for 124 Rabbit Club on MacDougal Street, we walked right by it, which we’re pretty sure is just the point. No website, barely any sign of its existence except a painted rabbit to the right of its basement-level door. But this is exactly why the bar is so great, it’s a place to escape for the evening and enjoy some fine Belgian and English style beers.
A local place, the bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. We did think that the beers were a tad overpriced, but it’s Manhattan.
