The Hand Crafted Tasting Company (the same folks who produced the NYC Craft Beer Festival in March and the Brooklyn Waterfront Summer Craft Beer Festival in June) are coming back for a winter-themed edition: NYC Craft Beer Festival Winter Harvest, on November 10 at Pier 57, 15th St and West Side Highway. Session 1 begins at 1:30 (12:30 for VIP and Connoisseur) and goes until 4 p.m., Session 2 starts at 7 (6 for VIP and Connoisseur) and goes until 9:30 p.m.
Tickets (which will go on sale September 12 at 11 a.m.) are again sold in three levels: General Admission, VIP, and Connoisseur. VIPs will have an extra hour of tastings and receive a souvenir glass, while Connoisseurs will get the extra hour, the glass and access to a special “Connoisseurs Lounge” featuring rare beers.
Two seminars have been announced so far. One will feature Chris Gallant, general manager of the Bronx Brewery, and cover “The Creation of Bronx Brewery: 10 Start-up Tips to Apply to Any Business.” The other seminar, “Harvest Beer Thanksgiving Food Pairing,” features Chef Stephen Durley and Beer Sommelier Hayley Jensen. The pair will make a beer pairing showcasing seasonal harvest dishes.
While details about food offerings haven’t been released just yet, the breweries have. Take a look here.
