The fall season of festivals is continuing October 6 with The Villiage Voice’s BK Pour. The festival will be held at One Hanson Place, the former Williamsburg Savings Bank, one of the more unique event venues in Brooklyn with soaring ceilings and teller windows on the ground floor and a gigantic vault in the basement. The list of breweries is impressive with local favorites like Captain Lawrence and the Bronx Brewery being joined by regional breweries like Harpoon and Dogfish Head. Interestingly there will be several cider makers at the festival. Food will be featured from Der Schwarze Koelner, Lucky Chili, Lola Bistro, and Stable House. In addition to beers and food, there will be talks on topics ranging from fall seasonal beers to pickling and barbecue.
Regular admission tickets are $45 and include beer tasting for three hours. The $65 VIP ticket gets you access to the VIP Mezzanine where there will be some complimentary food and a VIP gift bag.
