One of the more special Oktoberfest celebrations this year will be held at Jimmy’s No. 43 from October 5 through 7. The bar will be featuring rare German gravity casks (these tend to pour with more carbonation than their English counterparts) like Kellerbiers, Landbiers, and Zwiekelbiers from the Bamberg region of Germany. These are sessionable styles that are hard to find in the United States and add a different dimension to the German beer styles that many drinkers find to be boring. During the weekend you’ll be able to get a plate of three wurst (German sausage) with sides and two of the cask beers for $20.
