Saturday July 20, the summer edition of the NYC Craft Beer Festival moves into Webster Hall with Jazz performances and a beer list curated by the team here at BeerUnion. The indoor festival is a welcome break from outdoor summer festivals that risk blistering heat that makes dehydration a real problem (especially given the recent heat wave). The beer list has some great summer seasonals from around the country, but a special focus on local breweries.
Over 20 of the breweries scheduled for the festival hail from New York State including some that are hard to find in New York City like Wagner Valley, from the Finger Lakes. The Connoisseur Lounge includes beers like Southern Tier Plum Noir and The Breuery Smoking Wood. You can also hear about New York’s brewing history with Tom Acitelli’s seminar “New York’s Pioneering Role in the American Craft Beer Revolution”.
Sessions run from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. General Admission tickets are $55, VIP tickets which include an extra hour of admission are $75 and Connoisseur Lounge tickets are $125 and include special access to limited and rare beers.
