This past weekend the Hand Crafted Tasting Company returned to the Lexington Ave Armory to hold the NYC Craft Beer Festival Winter Harvest edition. The team here at BeerUnion curated the beer list, and we focused on New York brewers as much as possible.
Brewers in attendance from our state included: The Bronx Brewery, Sixpoint, Brewery Ommegang, Southern Tier, Fire Island Brewing Company, Ithaca Beer Co., Lake Placid Brewing Company, Harlem Brewing Company, Radiant Pig Craft Ales, Wagner Valley Brewing Company, Steadfast Brewing Company, Middle Ages Brewing Company, Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Alphabet City Beer Co., Great South Bay, Upstate Brewing Company, Yonkers Brewing Company, Queens Brewery, City Island Beer Co., Spider Bite Beer Co., Defiant Brewing Company.
Here’s a photo recap of just some of the libations:
Nippletop Milk Stout, Lake Placid Brewing Company’s winter seasonal.
Celeste Beatty, founder of Harlem Brewing Company (middle) offers tasting notes for her Sugar Hill Golden Ale.
Long Island’s Great South Bay Brewery, just released in NYC.
Cigar City’s Jai Alai Pale Ale. Not New York, but still awesome.
Ommegang’s Take the Black Stout, the newest release in its Game of Thrones series of beers.
