Coming up this Saturday, December 14, is the first annual Sixpoint Holiday Concert and Beer Festival. Held by Sixpoint Brewery, SubCulture and the Anything Anything Radio show, the event will feature live music and sampling of 12 different types of Sixpoint beers. It is a benefit for The Humane Society of New York.
The festival will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at SubCulture, located at 45 Bleecker St. (at the corner of Lafayette) downstairs.
Music acts haven’t been announced yet but according to the event website, will be “a great up-and-coming R&B-based boogie-woogie rock group as [the] house band” and “friends in the indie rock and jazz scene.”

Resin Double IPA
The Brothers Quinn Rauchbier (debut), a smoked lager that was the winning recipe in the New York City Homebrewers Association beer contest.
Spice of Life Single-Hop IPA
Apostle IPA, created by Sixpoint in collaboration with a local Brooklyn musician.
Gorilla Warfare Coffee Porter, made with Gorilla Coffee from Park Slope
The Incredible Mild (Small Imperial Stout)
Mad Scientists #17, a Braggot Ale – an ancient style of beer made with 30% of the recipe was Wildflower liquid raw honey.
Early bird tickets are on sale now for$40. When those are sold the price will increase to $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Only 100 tickets will be sold; net proceeds go to the New York Humane Society.
